Tooth Chips - Soap for teeth!  I LOVE Tooth Chips.  As a natural toothpast alternative they taste better and I know are so much better for me.  I love washing my mouth out with soap :)  Jaycee - PA

Mmmmm they taste so good!  Feels clean after brush.  I took a look at the toothpast that I'm using from a health food store and it has SLS in it and that's NOT good!  I will use this tooth soap from now on and never go back:)

NEW FLAVOR!!!!   Lemon/Ginger (vegan)

This stuff is great! i worried that it would be like eating soap when you were bad as a kid and im glad that it was pleasant. im impressed. shipping was so fast and i got an awesome sample- just ordered more tooth soap and a large version of the sample i got. great stuff!!>^..^<

Price:$9.00

I can't say enough good about this product! I highly encourage anyone with hyper sensitive teeth to try this stuff. Before finding the tooth chips I had tried every "sensitivity" tooth paste from the store, even the prescription Prevident from the dentist. None of those helped one bit. But, now that I've been using the tooth chips for a few months the sensitivity is BARELY there. I will never go back to regular tooth paste again.
I hope this doesn't sound like a cheesey infomercial, but I'm truly amazed at the difference these have made in my teeth.
XOXOs to Monica for making such a great product!

Price:$2.25

It took me quite awhile to work up the nerve to try the sample, but now that I have, I'm liking it more and more. It travelled with me on a ski vacation and was WONDERFUL for that ... so much more convenient than toothpaste!

Price:$2.25
I bought samples of tooth chips almost a month ago, i am amazed at the stains on my teeth they have removed after a few weeks! I had like black lines in the crevices of my molars which the dentist said not to worry about but would probably never go away but after using your tooth chips most of them are gone! I am totally stoked! Thanks so much.

Easy to use - simply put a chip on a back molar, bite down and then with a wet toothbrush
begin brushing on the back molar OR place in your brush, wet & continue as usual.

IMPORTANT READ:   Warning: Toxic chemical triclosan can turn your toothpaste into chloroform
(From Organic Consumers Association)

After reading about the benefits of tooth soap at a site that sold tooth soap, I decided to browse around first before buying.  I'm so glad I did!First, I loved the idea of the chips, since they are so economical and transport so easily when traveling (not to mention that you don't have to worry about traveling with them as with other cosmetic items!).  Your flavors were much more interesting than the other tooth soaps, and your prices much better as well.  I also couldn't believe how fast they arrived, and with a little gift of goat milk lotion, no less!  I followed the directions and a single little chip worked its magic on my teeth.  I'll spread the word.  Thanks so much!

In an issue of the Blaylock Wellness Report, "Why Fluoride Is Toxic," Dr. Blaylock reveals the truth about this scary substance.

Dr. Blaylock reveals the link between fluoride and problems ranging from the cosmetic to the catastrophic.

Problems like:

  • Dental fluorosis, which leaves your teeth brown and mottled . . .
  • Increased bone fractures, devastatingly deadly to the elderly . . .
  • Skeletal fluorosis, bony overgrowths that can lead to bone spurs or spinal stenosis . . . or perhaps even cripple you . . .
  • Goiter or decreased function of the thyroid gland (pregnant women with low thyroid function run a higher risk for mental retardation in their children) . . .
  • Learning and behavioral problems in children (even lowered IQ and brain damage) . . .
  • Abnormal, mutated sperm, impotence, lowered testosterone and male infertility . . .
  • The malignant bone cancer osteosarcoma (not to mention increased cancer of the lung, bladder and larynx) . . .
  • And last, but certainly not least . . .
  • Alzheimer's disease and other degenerative brain disease (like Lou Gehrig's and Parkinson's) . . .

FDA Toothpaste Warning

FDA has found a poisonous chemical, diethylene glycol (DEG), in certain toothpastes imported from China. The agency increased its scrutiny and testing of imported toothpaste and dental products after receiving reports in late May 2007 of contaminated Chinese dental products found in several countries, including Panama.

The agency is warning consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste labeled as made in China and, through an import alert, is stopping all suspect toothpaste from entering the United States. FDA continues to investigate this problem and will take further action, as appropriate, to address this important public safety issue. (more - click on hyperlink FDA Toothpaste Warning)

Good Teeth from Birth to Death

In the book "Good Teeth from Birth to Death" by Dr. Gerard F. Judd, Ph.D., Chemistry and Fluoride Researcher states that bar soap was actually one of his recommendations to good strong teeth.

This is an excerpt from that book: "Reenamelization of the teeth occurs when they are clean. All toothpastes make a barrier of glycerine on the teeth which would require 20 rinses to get it off. A good solution for clean teeth, which I have used for 5 years, is bar soap. Wet the brush, swipe the bar two or three times with it, then brush the teeth thoroughly and the gums gently. Rinse with water three or four times. All oils are washed off the teeth and the gums are disinfected. The bacteria are killed by the soap. The teeth are then ready for reenamelization with calcium and phosphate in the diet. The enzyme adenosine diphosphatase delivers phosphate to the enamel surface. Do not use liquid soaps. Their different composition is harmful to the protoplasm.

Reenamelization is necessary on a daily basis because the enamel leaches slightly with water as well as the bones over decades leading to holey bones and holey teeth even in the absence of acid attack. Without reenamelization, we could never have good teeth."

Modern toothpaste is a heavy mix of chemicals and synthetics meant to clean, polish and maintain healthy teeth and gums. But are those ingredients safe, or even necessary?

Many people these days live a healthier lifestyle. They reduce their bad fat intake, reduce refined sugar, replace it with stevia (from a sweet herbal plant from Paraguay), Xylitol, an all natural sweetener, derived from corncobs and birch trees, a proven cavity fighter and safe for use by diabetics and hypoglycemics, or cane sugar.Try to avoid heavily processed foods with artificial colours, sweeteners and chemicals (read the book "Hard To Swallow") such as aspartame, neotame, sodium saccharin, splenda, MSG, (Monosodium glutamate, research shows it is a neurotoxin damaging the nervous system or brain, linked to hormonal imbalances, weight gain, obesity and a variety of other health problems. Eat more certified organic vegetables and fruit grown without herbicide and pesticide spraying or radiation, and even clean your house with non toxic-products.

But have you given any thoughts to what you are swishing around your mouth at least twice a day?

It seems that toothpaste is almost as old as teeth and early populations used abrasives like crushed oyster shells, bone and eggshells mixed with flavouring and powered charcoal. Later essential oils of peppermint, spearmint or cinnamon made brushing more pleasant and helped kill bacteria and germs at the same time.

Most commercial toothpaste have ingredients such as SLS (Sodium lauryl sulphate), fluoride, PVMMA copolymer, sodium laureth sulfate , sodium saccharin, artificial colour etc. Let's find out what the ingredients really are:

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

An detergent, humectant (moisturizer), emulsifier and foaming agent. Don't get deceived if it says on the label "derived from coconut! It is a combination of lauryl alcohol and mineral sodium sulphate, followed by neutralization with sodium carbonate. Found also in care wash soap, engine degreaser, garage floor cleaners. Degenerates cell membranes and can change genetic information (mutagenic) in cells and damage the immune system. It is reported to cause eye irritation, skin rashes, hair loss, dandruff and allergic reactions. Penetrates your eyes, brain, liver and remains there long term.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate

A ionic, negatively charged surfactant. A compound which reduces the surface tension in water, between water and another liquid, or between a liquid and a solid, classified as a wetting agent. It has ether added and is therefore irritating and toxic.

Sodium Fluoride

Derived from hydroluric, made by reacting sulphuric acid with fluorspar, an ore rich calcium fluoride, a hazardous chemical. Researchers have linked to cancer but no one is listening! Especially dangerous for young children who tend to swallow it after brushing their teeth. Many toothpaste contain enough fluoride in a 120m = 4 oz tube to even kill small child! That's why many toothpaste manufacturers include a warning on their labels "Not to use by children under the age of 6 years." Fluoride can corrode the tooth enamel, when swallowed can lead to Chron's disease. It does not reduce cavities and scientists are linking it to dental deformity, arthritis, allergic reactions and approx. 10.000 death each year from cancer. A report indicated that Fluorosis (fluoride poisoning) can result in darkened or mottled teeth, erosion of enamel, compromised bone structure and a host of other problems including learning disabilities, kidney disease and brain lesions. (see also the article "Hidden Fluoride in our food", January 2002 issue, Alternative Medicine Magazine).

Pvmma Copolymer

A thickener, dispersing agent and stabilizer. It gives a soapy feel, highly irritating to eyes, skin and mucous membrane.

Sodium Saccharin

Artificial sweetener( from the dangerous, hazardous Aspartame family), potential carcinogenic, currently being evaluated by National Toxicology Program, mutagenic, toxic or causes adverse reactions. Tests in the 1980s in rats developed bladder cancer, even the FDA (Federal Drug Administration, USA) list it as a possible carcinogen.

Fd & C Blue No. 1

Often used to dye pastes blue, most coal tar derivative are potential carcinogens, cause allergic reactions, teratogen or toxic and has been known to produce malignant tumors at the site of injection and by ingestion in rats.

These are just a few main chemical ingredients you will find in many toothpastes, but there are also other harmful ingredients found in toothpastes that are hazardous to your health. Therefore "READ CAREFULLY ANY INGREDIENTS ON THE LABELS". If you can't pronounce the name of an ingredient, it is mostly a synthetic chemical and don't buy it!

Tooth Chips - Soap for your teeth Testimonial: The tooth chips, I have to say, are absolutely *fantastic.*  My gums continue to look healthier than they have in so long, and if I'm not imaging it, the darker spots on my teeth are starting to fade!  The other testimonials are true--you really feel like you've been to the dentist.  Thank you so much for offering a wonderful alternative to commercial tooth products! Just wanted to drop a line and thank you again!  I'm sure I'll be back very soon! Paula PS. I actually went to the dentist today and the hygienist said that my gums looked very healthy, and it had to have been one of the easier cleanings I've had!  I'm totally impressed...

Very unusual, works great! After enduring the dreaded soap in the mouth punishment as a child I was a wee bit hesitant about this, but there is no torture involved in using this soap in my mouth. Thanks for creating an alternative to commercial toothpaste. Suzette

Tooth ChipTM - Soap for Your Teeth Testimonial:

This stuff is AWESOME! Firstly I was excited to see the no-neem version. Secondly, really fast shipping. I JUST got my package in the mail and had to try it out right away! I didn't think it tasted soapy at all. I loved the way it lathered up. I am so not into flouride, and I've tried the store-bought 'natural' toothpastes without much success (they taste gross and don't seem to clean very well. Plus, even the natural toothpastes have flouride! yuck!) So I've been using the baking soda toothpastes which seem to clean well but are really harsh on my gums. Sometimes my gums even feel irritated after brushing. With the tooth soap, I was able to brush and brush as long as I pleased and my gums were not irritated, in fact it made them feel really good and soothed! I am so glad I found this. I can't wait for my next dentist appointment, I am sure it will be good news! Thank you for making such a great product. I will definitely be back.   "Cheap Threads"

What about flouride?

We have been raised to believe that fluoride is good for us. It is even added to public drinking water. Yet, every tube of toothpaste which contains fluoride carries a warning which states something like this: "WARNING: AS WITH ALL FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTES, KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY SWALLOW MORE THAN USED FOR BRUSHING, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY." I copied this quote exactly from a major brand of toothpaste tube - capitol letters and all. There is more interesting information about fluoride (including how and why it has ended up in water supplies and toothpaste) which I won't expound upon here but scientific research exists which shows that fluoride blocks the body's ability to absorb calcium, a mineral which is needed for healthy bones and teeth. Ironically, there it is in toothpaste being promoted as good for teeth.
